01Who we are and this agreement

Salaysay Studio provides Filipino text-to-speech services. These Terms & Conditions explain the agreement governing your account, voice generation, and paid access. Our business information and support contacts are available on Contact & Requests.

These terms cover your use of the studio together with the Payments & Refunds and Acceptable Use policies. The Privacy and Cookies & Storage policies explain how information is handled. Accepting service terms is not consent to optional marketing or tracking.

02Eligibility and your account

Accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. If acting for a business, you must have authority to accept these terms for it. Provide accurate information, keep your password private, and report unauthorized access. Email verification is required for custom generation and purchases.

The service is offered to customers in Philippines. Access to the website from another location does not establish that paid service is offered there. Mandatory rights in your location are not waived by these terms.

03Recorded samples and custom generation

Recorded voice previews are free. The studio’s bundled default sample is free only when its complete script and all controls exactly match the default configuration. Any edit, including whitespace or a delivery-control change, makes it a custom request requiring a paid allowance. A failed sample playback does not automatically trigger paid synthesis.

Voice-overs are AI-generated. Pronunciation, pacing, emotion, and accuracy can vary. Review each output before using it. A sample illustrates a voice; it is not a guarantee that every custom script will sound identical.

04Passes, usage, and downloads

Paid access is a one-time 30-day pass, not an automatically renewing subscription. The price and included minutes are shown before payment. Unused minutes expire at the end of the pass. See Payments & Refunds for the full billing rules.

Each successful generation, including a retake, uses allowance based on the generated audio duration rounded up to the next second. Closing the page or stopping your wait may not stop a submitted job; a successfully completed job can still use minutes.

Download your MP3 before closing or leaving the studio. Generation history records usage, not a permanent library of downloadable recordings. Keep your own copies of scripts and downloaded audio.

05Scripts, audio, and intellectual property

You retain rights you already hold in your submitted material. You give Salaysay Studio and its service providers permission to process that material as necessary to generate your requested audio, maintain security, and provide support.

Salaysay Studio does not claim ownership of your original scripts. Subject to applicable provider terms, law, and third-party rights, you may use downloaded outputs in your own personal or commercial projects. This does not promise copyright protection, exclusivity, a voice identity, or clearance of someone else’s material.

You are responsible for permissions covering any script, manhwa, artwork, character, music, brand, likeness, or other material used in your final production. Purchasing a pass does not license third-party works. Studio branding and bundled demonstration recordings are not separately licensed for resale or redistribution.

06Availability, misuse, and account closure

The service depends on hosting, authentication, payment, and voice providers. Maintenance, outages, or provider limits can interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular commercial result, or approval by a publishing or monetization platform.

Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address abuse, account compromise, unlawful use, or material violations of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request review through Contact & Requests. Any paid entitlement affected will be handled under the refund policy and applicable law.

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through Contact & Requests. Deletion is not automatic cancellation of a completed payment or an automatic refund. Records required for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes may need to be retained.

07Responsibility, complaints, and changes

You are responsible for checking and lawfully publishing your outputs. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by law; nothing here excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For service or billing concerns, use Contact & Requests and include the relevant payment or generation reference. These terms are intended to be governed by Philippine law, subject to mandatory protections and complaint rights that apply to you. They do not require you to waive access to regulators or a competent court.

Policy updates will show a new version and date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account contact details where appropriate, and renewed agreement will be requested where required. New pricing applies to future purchases and does not retrospectively reduce an already purchased allowance.
